South African Tarheels (SATarheels) is a non political social club serving to link fellow South African’s in the area and share information. Our main objective is maintaining a link, however tenuous, with our cultural heritage and socializing with people from the old country.
Our club is based in Raleigh and Charlotte but we have members scattered all over North Carolina. We have regular get-togethers from braai's to teas to pub-evenings. The club is open to all who share a connection to SA or its continent and we welcome those with ties to the area to join us. There is no membership fee and no obligation to attend events unless you RSVP!
