Because of our close relationships with the vineyards whose wines we offer, and because we are a small team who enjoy wine and working together, we strive to offer you a more personal approach to your internet wine shopping experience.
Kevin, a South African who has lived in the UK for more that 30 years, but has lost neither his accent nor his passion for Springbok Rugby, visits the Cape at least four times a year, popping in to see our supplier wineries and keeping his keen eye open for new and exciting opportunities. He maintains this is very hard work, but we don't believe him!
Sally and Mike are both Zimbabweans (and if you know much about Zimbabwean wine, you'll appreciate why they greatly prefer the South African variety!) Whilst Mike is definitely a Windhoek lager man, Sally prefers chilled Viognier and elegant Pinot Noir. Mike is the man that makes sure your order gets to you safe and sound.
Julia, another long term visitor from South Africa, worked in the wine trade in Johannesburg and is responsible for marketing and trade sales and helps keep the website up to date.
Hayley, who is our main customer liaison and contact, and Ken, who looks after the books and numbers, are our English contingent who appreciate a good glass of South African Sauvignon Blanc on a regular basis.
